Dato’ Ir. Ong Boon Hai brings along more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry. As the Company’s Managing Director, he directs and controls overall business operation of the Company, to ensure the Company achieves its vision, mission and goals and is responsible to the Board of Directors.
He joined ASIA BARU as Operations Manager in August 1993 and subsequently, promoted to Operations Director in April 1995. He was then entrusted to direct and manage the Company’s operations including tender, contract administration, project implementation, procurement, human resources and others to ensure Company’s set objectives are met consistently. In September 2013, he was elevated to his current post of Managing Director.
Dato’ Ir. Ong Boo Hai holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Civil Engineering from University of Louisiana and is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (NO: C17788) as well as a member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia (MIEM)
