Menaiktaraf Logi Rawatan Air Pelubang, Daerah Kubang Pasu, Kedah Darul Aman – Main Contract No: S/K/6/2021
The construction contract for the implementation of the Project is divided into two (2) major Parts as follows:
- Part 1 – Intake and Water Treatment Plant Upgrading Works.
- Part 2 – Pipeline and Reservoir Works
The major work components for Part 1 will be the development of the following:
- Proposed Upgrading Works of Pelubang Water Treatment Plant from 227 Mld to 454 Mld and its associated works;
- Proposed New Intake and Raw Water Pump House with a nominal capacity of 227 Mld along Sg. Besar or Terusan Besar, and
- Supply and laying of mild steel Raw Water Pumping Main of size 1600mm diameter of approximately 0.6km from the new Intake Works to the new Water Treatment Plant.
The civil & structural works, among others, include site formation, earthworks, roadwork, fencing and landscaping works, TNB 33kV/11kV Sub Station, 415V Switch House, Flood detention pond, drainage and overflow system.
