Pembinaan Empangan Kahang di Daerah Kluang, Johor Darul Ta’zim
Implemented by the Kementerian Tenaga, Teknoloji Hijau dan Air (KeTTHA), the project serves to overcome existing raw water issues and meet the demand for treated water supply in Kluang District until year 2035.
The component of works includes:
- Construction of an Earth Fill Dam with an Impounding capacity of 32mcm.
- Construction of an Intake Tower, Spillway, Transfer Culvert, Valve House, Administration Building, Access Road and M&E Works for the dam operation.
- Laying of 2.2km of 1200mm dia. MSCL pipeline.
