Project Pembekalan Air Mentah Layang 2 Daripada Sungai Sedili ke Seluyut dan Daripada Sungai Seluyut ke Empangan Upper Layang (Fasa 2) di Johor Darul Ta’zim
Under design and build, the project is to gain full value of an earlier emergency scheme by the addition of another parallel running supply line to increase the raw water supply to Upper Layang Dam to overcome the impending abstraction shortfall faced by the water treatment plant due to increasing demand and to meet the demand growth of Southern Johor until year 2025.
The scope includes:
- Laying of another 30km length of 1300mm dia. MSCL pipeline from Seluyut Dam to Upper Layang Dam running parallel with an existing.
- Addition of another 100m span steel truss bridge across Sg. Johor.
- Addition of another 2 duty + 1 standby pump sets of 150 MLd capacity with all M&E associated works
