Project Kecemasan Pembekalan Air Mentah Daripada Skim Pamer (Sungai Seluyut) ke Empangan Upper Layang di Johor Darul Ta’zim
A design and build emergency project to replenish the depleting water level of Upper Layang Dam (now called Sultan Iskandar Dam) during the dry spell to avert a water supply crisis in Johor Bahru by utilizing the completed infrastructure facilities from PAMER scheme.
Seluyut Dam, an available source and while supply to PAMER has yet to be fully utilized, the excess supply is made available to Upper Layang Dam.
The scope includes:
- Studies, Site Investigation and Detailed Design.
- Laying of 30km length of 1300mm dia. MSCL pipeline from Seluyut Dam to Upper Layang Dam.
- Construction of a 100m span steel truss pipe bridge across Sg. Johor.
- Construction of a pipeline Outfall Structure at Upper Layang Dam
